What’s this all about?

Welcome to Hey Bernice!

My name is Bin (short for Belinda).  I will also answer to Bernice, Binny, Bins or Binster.

Compared to what I do here, my day job is much less interesting, so we won’t talk about that. If you are interested you can find out more about that here.

Bernice drives all the exploits documented here.

Bernice is my alter ego…. she is a mum of two little ladies. And wife to a wondering husband who makes her laugh every day.

When not at play with the girls, Bernice tries her hand at blogging, plays around with interior styling, up-cycling anything and everything & experimenting with recipes whenever she can steal back a minute or two.

Belinda Langler Hey Bernice

Bernice uses this blog to share her exploits with you.

So, back to Bernice... over the years there has been a steady production line of creations derived from what many would call junk or rubbish … old furniture, seed pods, vintage wallpaper, 40 year-old books, old spindles or just a creative combination of items that many wouldn’t think to put together – including food. Bernice has been asked on many occasions to hold working bees, tutorials or provide recipes so others can produce their own creations – hence the birth of this ‘Hey Bernice!’ blog.
