My workshops provide a great excuse to bake some cakes… and brownies, and cheesecakes!

Most of you would be aware that I started a new business six months ago http://www.theinklingeffect.com.au which has been sapping a lot of my apparent spare time (’cause there’s so much of that floating around with two kids under 3!).
The only time I do get to cook creatively is when I am whipping up some supper to take to the evening workshops I host on Social Media, Content marketing and blogging.

Winter Warmers, comfort food for a cold night: soups, chilli and crumble…

Think of this as a showcase of some of my favourite winter recipes.

Let’s start with soups…

This is my all-time favourite soup, no arguments, it is simply the best…

Middle Eastern orange cake with spiced syrup (gluten and dairy free)

We’ve all had a moment when we need to create something sweet for our gluten and/or dairy free guests…. and sometimes it’s difficult to know where to start? Well here is your answer.

I always receive great feedback on my Flourless Chocolate Orange cake at parties (it is also dairy free!)… so I thought it about time I post a variation I created last November…

I was a bit bored with always turning to the same dessert option for my gluten and dairy free buddies, so here is a twist on the same recipe. As you can see in the photo, it can also be served up as individual desserts for a more ‘gourmet’ dining experience.
